The role demands a leader with a sharp mind and the ability to coach, advise and motivate the sales force.
Objectives of this Role
Achieve company objectives through effective planning, setting sales goals, analysing performance data, and projecting future performance
Represent the company, with a comprehensive understanding of our products and services
Create and execute strategic marketing & sales plans that expand customer base and extend global reach
Research customer needs and identify how our solutions meet them
Meet with potential clients and grow long-lasting relationships by understanding their needs and opportunities
Track, analyse, and communicate key quantitative metrics
Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop a plan to fulfil them
Skills and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical or business administration subject
5+ years in sales management within an industrial setting
Proven track record of international success in sales & marketing
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Superb leadership ability
Ability to travel significantly
Advantageous Experience
Experience in steel/foundry industry or other hot metal environments
Experience in the sales and marketing of high performance refractories or ceramics
Ability to communicate in foreign languages

Job Overview

All equipment is manufactured and tested in the UK prior to dispatch to the customer
Installation and Commissioning
Part of the role will include the installation and commissioning of machinery in the steel-plant. This will mean national and international travel.
International travel would be approx. 6 weeks out of the year and each trip approx. 2 weeks duration dependent upon location.
Qualifications
BTEC Mechanical Engineering to HNC Level or equivalent

Monday to Thursday 08:00 to 17:00 – 30 Minutes Lunch
