MIRL have a vacancy for a Commercial/Export Administrator to be based in our Commercial Department at Old Denaby Doncaster.
Description of the Job
Processing of shipments accurately and proficiently;
Liaison with other departments such as customer service, bookings and warehouse as well as overseas offices, hauliers, drivers and clearance agents;
Running and uploading reports on a weekly/monthly basis;
Liaise with Sales team to provide regular / timely updates on order progress;
Handling all tasks from start to finish and ensure all files are completed and passed to the accounts department for invoicing;
Processing export orders;
Checking previous weeks export trailers to ensure they have arrived on time;
Receiving bookings from clients (internal/external);
Provide support to ensure the smooth running of export operations in response to customer requests (internal/external) in an efficient and pro-active manner;
Applying for and processing external documents required for shipments;
Raising purchase order numbers on the inhouse system;
General adhoc duties when required;
Handling any customer queries and complaints when necessary.

MIRL have a vacancy for a Production Laboratory Technician to be based primarily in our Laboratory at Old Denaby Doncaster.
Description of the Job
Routine quality control checks of production material, including testing product bulk density, slip density, particle size distribution, cold crushing strength, and cold modulus of rupture.
Performing checks on incoming raw materials, such as grain density and particle size distribution. Control and logging of Certificates of Conformity for incoming raw materials.
Assisting in the development of new products and evaluation of new raw materials.
Product testing and Certificate of Conformity generation for outgoing products, comparing data with product definitions and taking appropriate action.
Trouble-shooting production problems when required.
Control of internal calibration records. Ensuring Laboratory equipment is functional and within calibration where required, and advising the replacement equipment as necessary.
Sample collection and preparation for external testing, such as XRF and XRD. Arranging and sending samples for external testing.
Oversee trials with new raw materials and newly developed materials/products. Analysis of competitors products. Assisting with UK plant trials.
Assisting with trouble-shooting product and production problems at Monocon external plants.
Any other duties to improve laboratory procedures.
